This Saturday is the annual Barry Cruickshanks Memorial match between Albatross Demons and Nowra Blues. It is a very special day for our family and for both clubs, so we would love to see a great turn out at Tom Smith Oval to celebrate Baz’s life and his love of footy, and his commitment and dedication to the Nowra Blues, where he started out, and later, his beloved Demons. We want to extend the invitation to anyone who played when Baz did, or supported either club from the sidelines during those years to come out to Tom Smith for the game which will now start at 11.45 (due to the Blues needing to get to Wollongong for their Division 1 game). We will be hanging around the Club a while and then heading to the Posties for awards, and a reception where we will present the Barry Cruickshanks Trophy and the Best on Ground medallions. We are expecting (hoping) the Nowra guys will all turn up there following their game in Wollongong and the club will be providing some food and drinks for those in attendance. The reception will start at 6.30 pm and it will be held upstairs at the Postman’s Tavern. We hope to see you all at the game, and at the Posties for a few afterwards – Caz
